Ksenia Zueva’s drama "Nearest and dearest" was first shown in Russia at the Kinotavr festival, nominated for the Main Prize and Best Debut. It is the only film by a woman director in the main competition of the festival. Among the awards is the NETPAC (Network of the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema) Jury Prize at the Pacific Meridian Festival. The international premiere of the film took place at the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn.
